How to Create a Hosting Packages within WHM?

If you have a reseller hosting plan you can create your own web hosting plans. You can specify the features for each of your plans eg: storage space, bandwidth, emails, parked domains etc.

Follow these steps to create web hosting packages

Step 1. Log into your WHM

Step 2. Click on “Packages” under the main dashboard.

Step 3. Click on “Add a Package” under the “Packages”.

Step 4. On the following page:

# Specify a package name               # Resources

Define how many of each item the package offers. In my case I will Enter “2GB” to allow only 2048MB.

Note: When declaring “Resources” you should keep within the limitations of your specific plan.

Step 5. Define Settings for the mentioned package.
In my case I will leave all the above options, But Still you can choose the setting for the specific package.
Select Options : Decide whether or not this account should have ssh access, Frontpage Extensions installed by default, and if they should have CGI Access.
cPanel Theme : Default theme will be selected.
Feature List : Select which feature list to assign to the account. Feature lists specify which cPanel features are available to the user, and are managed within the “Feature Manager” in WHM.
Locale : Select which language to assign to the cPanel accounts

When complete, click “Add” at the bottom of the page to create the package. a Success notification will popup.
